Philomena Orji has extensive experience in program management and leadership within the field of nutrition and health. Currently serving as the Program Director for the "Transforming Lives Through Nutrition" initiative at Helen Keller Intl since April 2016, Philomena oversees a multifaceted program operating across several African and Asian countries. Prior to this role, Philomena held various positions at Helen Keller Intl, including Country Director, where responsibilities included program implementation, staff performance management, strategic planning, and securing funding in Nigeria. Philomena has also contributed to USAID SPRING as Chief of Party, focusing on strategic leadership and project performance. Earlier career experiences include roles at Management Sciences for Health and Columbia University International Centres for AIDS care and treatment Programs, alongside national pharmacy responsibilities at Medecins Sans Frontieres. Philomena's academic background includes advanced degrees in International Health and Health Care Management from the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Benin.
