Monica Godfrey-Lehrer

Monica Godfrey-Lehrer currently serves as the Major Gifts Officer and Event Planner Manager at Helen Keller Services since March 2024. Previously, Monica held various roles at the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults from February 2009 to March 2024, including Supervisor of Mobility, Low Vision, Audiology, and Creative Arts, and Program Coordinator. Monica was the Chief Executive Officer of Godfrey Mobility Services, Inc. from January 2005 to March 2015 and served as Supervisor of the Mobility Department at the Helen Keller National Center from December 1999 to January 2005. Monica holds a Master’s degree in Blind Rehabilitation with a focus on Orientation and Mobility from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from Michigan State University.
