Matthew Nahlik has a strong background in manufacturing and engineering, with a focus on quality and production. Matthew started their career as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Boa Technology in 2010 and later worked as a Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2018, Matthew worked at Hydro Flask, first as a Production Support Engineer and then as a Production Engineering Manager. In 2018, they joined Helen of Troy as the Director of Quality for Housewares, and later took on the role of Vice President of Quality and Production Engineering in 2020. Currently, Matthew serves as the Vice President of Americas Sourcing Operations at Helen of Troy. Throughout their career, Matthew also taught sailing as an instructor at Chicago Sailing and Columbia Yacht Club.
Matthew Nahlik attended Fenwick High School from 2002 to 2006. Matthew then went on to study at Santa Clara University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
