John McLaughlin

John McLaughlin has extensive experience in journalism, traffic reporting, and acting. Currently serving as a Reporter/Photojournalist at Helicopters Inc since October 2022, John focuses on news coverage and camera operation for NBC. Prior roles include being a Traffic Reporter/Editor for Audacy, Inc. from March 2017 to January 2023, where live traffic reports were generated for multiple radio and television stations. Additionally, John held the position of Shift Supervisor at Port Authority AOC, first with Drive Engineering from October 2015 to October 2023 and previously with WSP USA from October 2015 to September 2020, overseeing traffic information gathering and staff training. John has also worked as a Professional Actor with SAG-AFTRA since December 2013 and has a background as a Traffic Reporter with News 12 Traffic & Weather from May 2003 to September 2018. Academic credentials include a degree from St. Thomas Aquinas College, completed in 2002.
