Corey Zeigler

Chief Information Officer at Helio Health

Corey Zeigler is currently the Chief Information Officer at Helio Health. Prior to this, they served as the CIO at Canton-Potsdam Hospital from December 2005 to January 2010. In this role, they were responsible for leading long-term IT infrastructure upgrades in preparation for the enterprise transition to EMR. Corey also created an IT governance process and strategic roadmap to achieve Meaningful Use. Additionally, they managed 11 direct report IT staffers and a $2M capital and operational budget. Corey attended all hospital Board meetings, advised the Board as quality, cost, and patient experience SME, and updated members on on-going project milestones. Corey also served on the St. Lawrence County Technology Steering Committee and member of the North-County Telemedicine Steering Committee overseeing the 600-mile fiber project and expanse of telemedicine in rural, underserved areas of northern NY.

During their time at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Corey led process improvement initiatives resulting in the 50% reduction of waste in clinical and administrative workflows. Corey also reduced network infrastructure downtime by 60% after spearheading a system-wide redesign. In addition, they built a completely new HIPAA/NIST compliant data center to house 430,000 acute medical records. As a result of their hard work, the hospital was recognized as “2007 Most Wired”, only one of 25 small and rural hospitals nationwide.

Corey Zeigler has a Masters of Business Administration in Information Technology from Capella University, a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and various certifications from CHIME, ecfirst, and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Corey Zeigler reports to Jeremy Klemanski, President and CEO. They work with Patricha Roberts - Inpatient Division Director, Victoria Farley - Administrative Assistant, and Jaime Ciszewski - H.I.T. Systems Manager.
