Thomas Schimmel has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Thomas co-founded Helion Market Research in 2009, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer, driving sustainable growth and market differentiation. Prior to that, they worked at Bare International Europe, where they held multiple positions, including Business Development Director Europe and Business Development Manager. In these roles, they developed international sales plans, managed key sales and account management activities, and fostered strategic partnerships. Thomas also worked at Live Nation Belgium as the Festival Manager and Concert Promoter, where they successfully reorganized and improved the festival's organization. Thomas Schimmel obtained a Master's degree in History from Ghent University in the years 1991-1995. Thomas later pursued further education at Vlerick Business School, completing an Executive Master Class in B2B Sales and Marketing in 2008-2009, a General Management Program in 2006-2007, and a course in Negotiating to Create Value in 2005. In 2020, they enrolled in two programs at Vlerick Business School, focusing on Creating Value Through M&A and Venture Capital and Private Equity.
