Andrew McAvoy is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in technical management and electrical engineering. Currently serving as Group Technical Manager at Helios Towers since March 2018, Andrew has previously held the position of Senior DC Power Applications Engineer at Eaton from January 2006 to March 2018. Andrew's career began as a Field Seismologist at Schlumberger from June 1990 to July 1994, followed by roles as a DC Power Applications Engineer at Invensys/Swichtec and as a Maths and Physics Teacher at Bognor Regis Community College and Aranui High School (NZ). Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cardiff University and a PGCE in Mathematics from the University of Chichester.
