Maixent Bekangba

Maixent Bekangba is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as Regional Director for Central Africa and Managing Director at Helios Towers since June 2022, Maixent leads initiatives that support mobile operators in expanding coverage across high-growth markets in Africa and the Middle East. Prior to this role, Maixent was the Chief Executive Officer at Property Technology Africa from June 2019 to December 2021, focusing on innovative building solutions and smart city initiatives for various stakeholders. Maixent's prior experience includes significant positions at Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands), where roles spanned Managing Director for Airtel Madagascar, Project Management Director for Merger and Integration, and Chief Commercial Officer. Earlier career roles include Regional Commercial Manager at Vodacom and Head of Marketing at Telecel Globe.
