Thomas Scheibel

Thomas Scheibel has an extensive work experience dating back to 1995. Thomas has held various leadership positions throughout their career.

From 1995 to 1997, they worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at Land Baden-Württemberg.

In 1998, they joined PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory, Capital Projects & Infrastructure as a Manager PFI. Thomas worked in that role until 2000.

From 2000 to 2008, Thomas Scheibel was employed at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein as the Director Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure.

In 2008, they moved to an Industrial Conglomerate where they served as the Senior Vice President for ten years until 2017.

During their time at the Industrial Conglomerate, Thomas Scheibel also held the position of Chairman at ROMAX Group AG from 2014 to 2020.

In 2016, they became a Member of the Board at ZIP.ch and continued in that role until 2020.

From 2010 to 2019, Thomas Scheibel served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at SOVAG Insurance Company.

In 2017, they became the Group CEO at HELIOT EUROPE | Sigfox Operator for DACH, a position they held until 2020.

Also in 2017, they became a Member of the Geschäftsleitung at Sigfox Germany GmbH, and in 2020, they took over the role of Chief Executive Officer at the same company.

In 2020, Thomas Scheibel joined the 0G United Nations as a Board Member, where they continue to contribute to the global adoption of 0G Network Operators.

Thomas Scheibel's education history includes attending Heidelberg University from 1990 to 1995, where they obtained a 1. Staatsexamen (Prädikat) degree in Law. During their time at Heidelberg University, from 1992 to 1994, they also completed an Associate's degree in Economics. Additionally, in 1992 and 1993, Thomas Scheibel briefly studied Law at Charles University.
