Sonya Baumstein

Sonya Baumstein is a highly experienced financial professional, currently serving as the Director of Finance at Helium Foundation since April 2023. In addition to this role, Sonya has been providing fractional CFO services at Brumley Law Firm, Pllc since May 2020 and managing Spindrift Rowing LLC since January 2012. Previously, Sonya held significant positions such as Controller at BeetsDAO and Executive Director at Epoch Expeditions. With a strong background in finance, including previous roles as Director of Finance for both Seattle Men's Chorus & Seattle Women's Chorus and Fort Worden Public Development Authority, Sonya has demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, compliance management, and team supervision. Sonya holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management and Emergency and Disaster Management from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese (Language) and Art History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
