Joanna Perry

Joanna Perry has had an extensive and diverse work experience. Joanna started their career in 2007 as an Independent Non Executive Director at Genesis, where they held leadership positions in various committees. Joanna continued to excel in their career and took on roles such as Chairman of the IFRS Advisory Council and Trustee at the IFRS Foundation. Joanna also served as a Deputy Chairman at Regional Facilities Auckland and held director positions at companies like Trade Me and Nyriad. Currently, they hold positions as Chairman at Oyster Property Group and Non Executive Director at Lodestone Energy and Helius Therapeutics. Joanna'swork experience showcases their expertise in governance, strategic leadership, and advisory roles.

Joanna Perry's education history begins with their attendance at Millfield School from 1968 to 1974. Joanna later pursued higher education at the University of Cambridge from 1975 to 1978, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Economics.

Joanna Perry has also obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 1981, they became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW). In 1982, they became a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In 2000, they became a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). In 2017, they were recognized as a Chartered Fellow by the Institute of Directors in New Zealand. Most recently, in 2019, they obtained the Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) certification from Toastmasters International.
