Natalia van Busum

Natalia Van Busum is an accomplished laboratory scientist with extensive experience in analytical and forensic chemistry. Currently serving as a Laboratory Scientist at Helix Diagnostics since August 2019, Natalia has previously worked as a Toxicologist at Great Lakes Medical Laboratory and as a Forensic Chemist at the American Institute of Toxicology from 2001 to 2016. Early in the career, Natalia held the position of Analytical Chemist at the Agrochemical Scientific Center, focusing on pesticide trace analysis, and served as a Research Chemist at the State Agrarian University of Moldova, studying plant resistance mechanisms. Natalia holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemistry from Universitatea de Stat din Moldova, earned between 1978 and 1983.
