Kassie Sugimoto

Kassie Sugimoto is a Cultural Resource Project Manager at HELIX Environmental Planning, Inc. since February 2021, with extensive experience in bioarchaeology and cultural resource management. Sugimoto serves as the Assistant Project Director for the Andahuaylas Bioarchaeology Project and has held positions such as Bioarchaeological Laboratory Supervisor, Archaeologist at Psomas, and Project Manager at Scientific Resource Surveys, Inc. Additionally, Sugimoto contributed as an Assistant Editor for the Electronic Student Journal of Anthropology and served in various roles within archaeological projects, demonstrating a strong background in research, project management, and student engagement. Sugimoto holds a Master's Degree in Anthropology from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts from California State University-Dominguez Hills, complemented by an Associate of Arts from El Camino College.
