Jon Lee

Jon Lee is a seasoned professional in the fintech industry with extensive experience in trading, quantitative analytics, and risk management technologies. As Co-Founder of Helix Markets since November 2022 and Founder of Quant.Cloud since January 2014, Jon specializes in front-office trading solutions. Previous roles include serving as Director and Emerging Markets FX Option Trader at UBS Investment Bank from April 2010 to July 2013, and Portfolio Manager for Asia Non-Japan Long/Short Equity at HORIZON ASSET (UK) LIMITED from May 2007 to October 2009. Jon’s background also includes significant tenure at Deutsche Bank as Director and Head of EEMEA Local Market Derivatives Trading, and numerous roles in analytics and programming at notable firms such as Bankers Trust, Microsoft, and the Toronto Stock Exchange. Jon holds an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science with Information Systems from the University of Waterloo, completed in 1994.
