Oliver Leisten

Oliver Leisten is a highly experienced technical director and engineer with a robust background in antenna technology and RF engineering. Currently serving as Technical Director at Helix Technologies Ltd since April 2017, Oliver leads the design of dielectric-loaded multi-filar helix antennas. Previously, Oliver held positions such as Chief Engineer at MARUWA Europe Ltd., where the Sarantel product portfolio was revitalized, and Chief Technology Officer at Sarantel Group plc, contributing to the company's IPO and rapid prototyping tool development. With earlier roles at Sarantel Ltd., Symmetricom, and Navstar Systems, Oliver has a proven track record in innovation and product development, culminating in the design of widely used GPS timing receivers. Oliver holds a PhD in Solid-state microwave distributed duplexer structures from the University of Kent and a BSc (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University.
