Celina Andrade has extensive experience in the biomedical and laboratory sciences sectors, currently serving as Associate Project Manager II for Science Products at Helix since January 2017. In this role, Celina has led the onboarding of the NovaSeq X, overseen the implementation of the Veeva Quality Management System, managed Confirmatory Testing workflow, and directed the relocation of laboratory equipment. Previous positions include Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist and Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, where responsibilities encompassed various laboratory procedures related to nucleic acid extraction and SARS-CoV-2 assay testing. Prior to Helix, Celina worked at Psychemedics Corporation as an Extraction Chemist, where the development and validation of a new Amphetamine panel method significantly reduced run times. Celina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from California State University, Northridge, and has foundational education from Antelope Valley College.
