John Pfeiffer

John Pfeiffer has extensive experience in engineering and software management, currently serving as Engineering Director at Helix since April 2018, where responsibilities include guiding teams to achieve optimal outcomes. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Helix, including Principal Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on the development of Go microservices on AWS. John’s previous experience at Atlassian from July 2013 to April 2018 involved leadership roles, where significant contributions were made to the HipChat platform, including growing HipChat Server into a successful product. Additionally, John worked at Oxygen Cloud and Anders Electronics, gaining expertise in IT management, software development, and cloud services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and French from Vanderbilt University.
