Elli Filippopoulou is a graduate of the first mixed female-male class of the College in 1988 and was a member of the first mixed Board of Directors of SAKA.
He is a graduate of the School of Law of the Kapodistrian University of Athens with an LL.M. from Cambridge University/Trinity Hall College specializing in Intellectual Property, International Trade Law, European Union Law and Policies and European Competition Law and a Diploma in European Institutional Law from the Robert Schuman University of Strasbourg.
He is a lawyer at the Supreme Court and a Regulatory Policy Advisor. He has been a legal advisor on public regulatory policies, the European Commission, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development -OECD (Directorates of Public Governance and Competition) and the World Bank in the field of structural reforms with the aim of reducing administrative burdens, stimulating of competition, the simplification of licensing, the opening of closed professions and in general the stimulation of the business environment in Greece. He was a project manager in cultural programs of the European Union and represents international trade associations and companies from the USA. and the EU, as well as eminent personalities from the field of art and culture. He represented Greece at international conferences on Intellectual Property of Unesco, the organization for Asia-Europe-ASEF cooperation, the Council of Europe. He has written many articles in domestic and international legal journals. He has been an honorary member and legal advisor of a number of public benefit organizations and the secondary association of associations for children in need "Together for the Child".
