Maria-Lisa Farmakidis graduated from Athens College in 1991. She received her BA in History from the University of California/Berkeley, Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and her MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. She is the Executive Director of the Debt Capital Markets Division of Standard Chartered Bank in New York. She is responsible for covering North American companies in various sectors with an emphasis on global financing solutions. Previously, he held various positions at JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, BlackRock, PIMCO and Deutsche Bank.

He is an advisor to students in Entrepreneurship Technology at the City College of New York and regularly participates as a judge in entrepreneurship competitions held by the Enterprise Forum European Chapters of MIT. She is currently training to become a Professor at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
