Panos Katopodis is a seasoned naval professional with extensive experience in the Hellenic Navy from September 1993 to 2023, serving in multiple high-level positions, including Commander and Commanding Officer of HS SPETSAI and HS ROUSSEN, as well as in the Plans & Policy Directorate and Chief's Executive Office as Deputy Director. In addition, Panos served as a Command Group Staff Officer at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff from 2018 to 2019, and is currently positioned as a Maritime Operational Planner at NATO Joint Forces Command Norfolk, a role held since August 2021. Panos holds a Bachelor's Degree from Hellenic Naval Academy and two Master's Degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School, one in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering and the other in Combat Systems Engineering (Applied Physics), as well as advanced education from the Hellenic Supreme Joint War College.
