Eleftheria Polykarpou

Eleftheria (Eria) Polykarpou is an accomplished professional in data science and analytics with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of the Center of Excellence for Data at HELLENiQ ENERGY since April 2024, Eria has previously held significant roles including Senior Manager Data Science/Product Owner at Satori Analytics and Manager Data Science at Typeform, where leadership of a team of data scientists was a key responsibility. Notably, during a tenure at Aegon Spain, Eria remotely managed a data science team, establishing agile methodologies to drive data-driven initiatives. With earlier roles at TMC, Unilever, and KWR Watercycle Research Institute focusing on analytics and business development, Eria has a strong foundation in mathematical modeling, process optimization, and digital innovation. Additionally, Eria's academic contributions as a lecturer and researcher at the School of Energy and Resources, UCL Australia, complement a strong educational background, including a Ph.D. in Process Systems Engineering from UCL.
