John Edelman

John Edelman has had a diverse range of work experience. John is currently serving as the President and CEO of Heller since May 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded Fourth and Pride in December 2020. John also holds the position of Executive Chairman at Crypton starting from August 2020.

In their previous roles, John Edelman has made significant contributions. John served as the Ambassador of Be Original Americas from December 2019 until present. John held the position of President from February 2016 to December 2019 and was a Member from January 2014 to February 2016.

Furthermore, John Edelman has been a Board Member at DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS since May 2011. John is a dedicated Member of the Advisory Council at National Trust for Historic Preservation since January 2016. John also served as a Member of the Advisory Group at NYCxDESIGN from October 2019 to September 2020.

Additionally, John Edelman has been involved with Lola Granola Bar as a Member of the Board of Directors from May 2015 to August 2020. John has also held significant positions at Design Within Reach, including Chairman of the Board from June 2019 to December 2019, and Member of the Advisory Council from June 2019 to April 2020. Prior to that, they served as the CEO from an unknown date to June 2019.

Finally, John Edelman worked as the CEO of Herman Miller Retail from August 2014 to June 2019. These various roles showcase their extensive experience and involvement in the design and retail industries.

John Edelman attended Manhattanville College from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1984, they attended Wooster School. Additionally, John received an Honorary Doctorate from the New York School of Interior Design.
