Business Development Representative Team Lead

As the BDR Team Lead, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, managing and coaching a team of Business Development Representatives to excel in lead generation and pipeline development. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining strategies, optimizing processes, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about empowering their team to achieve outstanding results.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of BDRs to meet and exceed lead generation and pipeline targets.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and training to enhance skills and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented, and energetic team culture.

Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment on messaging, target audiences, and conversion goals.

Process Optimization

  • Refine prospecting workflows, outreach strategies, and tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish and document best practices for the team, ensuring scalability as we grow.
  • Utilize our tech stack to track team activities and measure success.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Act as the bridge between the BDR team and senior sales leadership, reporting on key metrics and progress.
  • Provide insights into market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to inform broader business strategies.
  • Represent the team in cross-departmental meetings and initiatives.

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND VALUES

Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record with at least 2 years of experience as a BDR or preferably, BDR team lead experience
  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS sales processes and lead generation strategies, especially from an Outbound perspective
  • Excellent understanding for best practices on different channels (cold calling, cold messaging, etc.)

Leadership & Communication

  • First leadership experiences but most importantly the relevant drive and joy for developing people
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a talent for building relationships both internally and externally.
  • Business-proficient English as well as German language skills

Technical Proficiency

  • Experience with CRM and sales enablement tools (HubSpot, Outreach, Cognism).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Ability and drive to automate and simplify
