Zunaid Miya Sa (CA)

Zunaid Miya (CA) SA has a diverse work experience in finance and corporate finance management. Zunaid started their career as an Audit Trainee at Deloitte US in 2003 and later became a Senior Auditor. In 2006, they joined Deloitte South Africa as a Corporate Finance Manager, working on valuations and due diligence projects. In 2009, Zunaid moved to Cell C where they held various roles within business planning, budgeting, analysis, commercial finance, and treasury management. Zunaid ultimately became the Executive Head in these areas and successfully managed a team of 11 individuals. Since 2016, Zunaid has been the Group CFO at Hello Group, where they have transformed the finance department and mentored a team to achieve high standards in business planning, budgeting, financial control, and reporting. Zunaid's achievements include advising management on cost-saving initiatives and procurement strategies.

Zunaid Miya (CA) SA began their education at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended PAAB from 2003 to 2004, in order to pursue their Board Part 1 & 2. During this time, they focused on various subjects such as Auditing, Accounting, Taxation, Managerial Accounting, and Finance.
