Alex Shortridge

Alex Shortridge has extensive work experience in business development and partnerships. They currently hold the position of Senior Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Hello Heart, starting in 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Hello Heart from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Hello Heart, Alex worked at Amino, where they held various roles. From 2021 to 2022, they served as the Vice President of Channel Partnerships. Prior to that, they were the Director of Channel Partnerships from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, they briefly served as the Corporate Sales Manager - Partnerships in 2020.

Alex also has previous experience at Benefitfocus, where they held multiple roles. They served as the Senior Distribution Manager from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they were the Director of Business Development, BenefitsPlace Integrators from 2018 to 2019. From 2016 to 2018, Alex held the position of Director, Ecosystem Operations. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Ecosystem Operations from 2012 to 2016. They also served as the Carrier Integration Manager from 2010 to 2012 and as a Senior EDI Integration Analyst from 2008 to 2010.

Earlier in their career, Alex held positions at Maersk Line as a Key Client Manager from 2004 to 2008, at Anchor Sign as a National Account Manager from 2002 to 2004, and at Wild Dunes Resort by Destination Hotels & Resorts. At Wild Dunes Resort, they worked in Group Vacation Sales from 2000 to 2002 and as a Front Desk Supervisor from 1999 to 2000.

Alex's earliest work experience was at Wilmington Shipping, where they served as a Vessel Agent from 1998 to 1999.

From 1993 to 1997, Alex Shortridge attended Wofford College, but the degree obtained and the field of study are unknown.
