Dorit Zilberbrand

Dorit Zilberbrand has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data science and software engineering. They started their career as a Software Engineer at Applied Materials in 2003 and worked there until 2011. After that, they joined Kenshoo as a Researcher, where they developed and implemented algorithms for online marketing optimization using machine learning and data mining techniques. They also worked as a Research Team Lead at Kenshoo from 2013 to 2015.

In 2015, Dorit joined StuccoMedia as a Data Scientist and later became the Research Team Lead from 2016 to 2019. At StuccoMedia, they focused on leading research teams and conducting data analysis.

In 2019, Dorit took on the role of Head of Data Science at L1ght, where they managed a team developing AI solutions for detecting online toxic behaviors. They utilized traditional ML and new deep learning techniques to develop statistical models for texts, images, videos, and sites.

Currently, Dorit is working as a Data Science Team Lead at Hello Heart, a company that aims to improve people's health using smartphone technology. They are responsible for leading the data science team and implementing clinically-based smartphone solutions for heart risk control.

Dorit Zilberbrand received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, where they studied from 1999 to 2009.
