Alex Hopkins

Alex Hopkins is a Senior UI Engineer at Tonic since July 2021, previously serving as a UI Engineer at the same company. Prior to Tonic, Alex worked at Gloo as a Web Engineer, focusing on building user-centric React and Next.js applications with an emphasis on scalability and accessibility. Earlier experience includes an Associate Web Engineer role at Natural Habitat Adventures, where UI enhancements and API integrations were developed, and a Junior Front End Web Developer position. Alex also has a background in graphic design, having worked as a Graphic Designer at AMB3R Creative, a Graphic Design Intern at Agency FIFTY3, and as a Creative & Marketing Intern at BigRedF Restaurant Group. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder and further studies at General Assembly.
