Hannah Walden is an accomplished educator and curriculum developer with extensive experience in computer science education. Currently serving as the Director of Curriculum at Hello World CS since March 2024, Hannah also works as an Independent Consultant, providing strategic guidance to educational institutions and edtech organizations. Previously, as the Director of Curriculum at CodePath.org, Hannah supervised a team in developing high-quality curriculum products for higher education. Hannah's notable contributions at Code.org included leading the creation of the AP Computer Science A curriculum and mentoring writers on international curriculum. With a strong teaching background at Maine Central Institute and experience as an adjunct instructor, Hannah holds a Master's of Computer and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor's degree in History from SUNY Empire State College, and a Master of Education in Teaching & Learning from Liberty University.
