Heikki Hakkarainen

Heikki Hakkarainen is a Data & Machine Learning Consultant at Hellon since September 2023, previously serving as a Data Scientist at Kaleva Media from October 2020 to September 2023 and at Bitfactor Oy from October 2016 to September 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Design Engineer in Data Analytics at Bittium and a seasonal substitute at Nokia. Heikki has a strong background in mathematics research, holding multiple postdoctoral researcher positions at Aalto University and the University of Oulu, along with visiting researcher roles at Institut Mittag-Leffler and the University of Oxford. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Oulu, with additional studies at various institutions.
