Jorris Van Doorn

Jorris Van Doorn has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jorris is currently an Advisory Board Member at Stars and Stories® since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CFO of Hellorider starting from May 2020.

In 2011, Jorris Van Doorn founded and worked as an M&A Adviser - Owner at Exit Strategen, a company that helps entrepreneurs with selling their businesses.

From 2007 onward, they held multiple roles at Copar, including Finance Director - Co-owner. Their responsibilities included finance, HR, ICT, warehousing, logistics, and procurement. Jorris gained experience in ERP implementation, supply chain finance, reorganization, horizontal tax supervision, and P-to-P automation.

In the same year as Copar, Jorris Van Doorn also founded Baptista Capital BV, where they focused on investment management, particularly in FMCG and tech sectors.

From 2018 to 2020, they served as the CFO of International Bike Group / Fietsenwinkel.nl, contributing to its growth and success in becoming a leading omnichannel bicycle retailer in multiple countries.

Earlier in their career, Jorris Van Doorn held various positions at Cloetta, CSM Bakery Supplies Europe Division, Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, and KLM Engineering & Maintenance, gaining experience in M&A, strategy, planning & control, and finance.

Overall, Jorris Van Doorn has an extensive and diverse background in finance, investment management, M&A, and strategy across various industries.

Jorris Van Doorn completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 1991 and 1997. Additionally, they pursued an Executive MS degree in Business Valuation from Erasmus University Rotterdam between 2009 and 2010.
