Robbie Li

Robbie Li has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and project management. They started their career as a Facilities Crew Member at Boston College Office of Residential Life in 2013. They then worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern at Boston College Information Technology in 2013. In 2014, they worked as an IT Risk and Compliance intern at GE Healthcare and as a Teaching Assistant at Boston College Information Systems Department. They joined Valore Inc. as a Product Intern in 2015.

In 2016, Robbie started their tenure at Capital One, initially working as a Project Manager and later as a Scrum Master. They then transitioned into a Software Engineer role, where they specialized in the front end and built a user interface using Angular. In 2019, they became a Full Stack Engineer at Capital One, focusing on building internal applications using various technologies.

In 2020, Robbie joined Storyblocks as a Senior Software Engineer. They played a lead role in developing the Maker, an in-browser video editor. They worked on core product features such as drag and drop functionality and adding fade options to assets. Additionally, they implemented A/B tests on the pricing page and integrated CMS into the company's Laravel + React monorepo.

Most recently, in 2022, Robbie joined Sage as a Senior Software Engineer.

From 2008 to 2012, Robbie attended Shrewsbury High School, where they did not receive a degree or specialize in any field.

From 2012 to 2016, Robbie attended Boston College Carroll School of Management and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. They concentrated their studies in Operations Management and Computer Science, with a minor in Theology.

In March 2020, Robbie obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Currently, from 2021 to 2023, Robbie is enrolled at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, pursuing a Master of Computer Science in Data Science.
