Kenneth Broderdorf started their career in 1996 as a CCS Sponsored intern at J. Walter Thompson Detroit, where they worked in the Matte Room/Audio Visual Room. Kenneth then had an internship at Bozell Worldwide in 1997, where they worked as a Junior Art Director and contributed to projects for Air Touch Cellular, Detroit Red Wings, Hush Puppies, Plymouth, and Red Cross.
In 1998, Broderdorf worked as an Art Director/Graphic Designer at The Quarton Group (Q2 Publishing) before joining Michael Flora & Associates Inc. as an Art Director in 1999. At Michael Flora & Associates, they developed and designed advertising and marketing materials for various clients such as Comerica Bank, Hungry Howie's Pizza, Car Tunes, Motor Information Systems, and Somerset Collection.
Broderdorf then worked at Brogan & Partners as an Art Director, where they developed creative advertising and marketing materials for Travel Michigan, MSX International, Streamloaner.com, and the Michigan Department of Public Health. Kenneth also designed a successful newspaper campaign for Travel Michigan.
From 2000 to 2001, they worked at Digital Image Studios as an Art Director/Graphic Designer, and then at FCS Advertising & Marketing as an Art Director/Graphic Designer. At both companies, they contributed to the development and design of creative advertising and marketing materials for various clients.
In 2002, Broderdorf returned to Digital Image Studios as an Art Director/Graphic Designer/Digital Artist. Kenneth developed and designed creative advertising and marketing materials for national and regional home builders and community development projects. Kenneth also worked with the web team to develop successful website launches and redesigns.
In 2010, Broderdorf started their own business, K.R. Broderdorf Professional Services, where they served as the owner. In 2011, they joined Helm as an Art Director.

Kenneth Broderdorf obtained an Associates Degree in Graphic Communication from Henry Ford College from 1992 to 1995. Kenneth then pursued further education at the College for Creative Studies from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a specialization in Graphic Communication.
