Blake Wentz

Blake Wentz serves as the Director of Career Development at Helm Group and as Per Course Faculty at Missouri State University, both roles having begun in late 2023. As Principal and Owner of Wentz Consulting Company since January 2023, Wentz also holds the position of President at the Associated Schools of Construction until April 2024. From June 2020 to December 2022, Wentz was the Dean of Engineering, Computer Science & Construction Management at California State University, Chico, and prior to that, held various academic roles at Milwaukee School of Engineering from September 2005 to June 2020, including Full Professor and Department Chair. Wentz began an academic career as a Lecturer at Northern Arizona University in 2004 and previously served as Vice President at Wentz Plumbing and Heating from 1999 to 2004. Wentz holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, a Master’s in Construction Management, and a PhD in Construction Management, all from institutions including the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Indiana State University.
