Jorge Taronji has extensive experience in the field of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management. Jorge has held various leadership roles in different companies, starting from 2006 until the present. Starting with their most recent position, Jorge is currently serving as the Corporate EHS Director - Global for Helm US Corporation, where they provide corporate governance and oversees compliance with EHS regulations. Prior to that, they worked at CMC Materials as the Senior EHS Manager - PIM Division, where they managed programs and processes to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Jorge also served as the Regional Senior Manager, EHS - Americas for GRUNDFOS, where they set strategic directions for sustainability and improved EHS performance. Jorge's earlier experience includes serving as the EHS Manager for Eaton, the Global Manager - Health and Safety for CARBO Ceramics Inc., and the Regional EHS Manager for The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. Overall, they have a proven track record of successfully leading EHS initiatives and driving continuous improvement.

Jorge Taronji earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Purdue University in 1992. Prior to that, they attended Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola from 1982 to 1988. In 1996, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Environmental Health and Safety from the University of Puerto Rico Graduate School of Public Health. Most recently, in 2020, Jorge completed a Graduate Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health from Columbia Southern University. Jorge also holds additional certifications, including an Executive Program in Safety Management from ASSE, obtained in 2013.
