Bryan Buckley

Bryan Buckley began their work experience in 2004 when they attended The Basic School/Infantry Officer Course in the Marine Corps. After completing their training, they served as a Platoon Commander in 2nd Battalion 8th Marines, leading a 30-man infantry platoon during Operation Iraqi Freedom. From 2007 to 2009, they took on the role of Platoon Commander in the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, specializing in reconnaissance and surveillance. In 2009, they joined the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) as a Team Commander for the Marine Raiders.

In 2013, Bryan moved into the civilian sector and became a District Manager for McGraw-Hill Higher Education, providing leadership and strategic direction to sales professionals and consultants. In 2016, they co-founded Invictus International and served on the Board of Directors, utilizing their expertise to offer tactical and security solutions. In the same year, they also founded the Battle Brothers Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on addressing the challenges faced by veterans.

Most recently, Bryan co-founded Helmand Valley Growers Company in 2018, where they serve as the CEO/Co-Founder. The company focuses on developing a veteran-based protocol to prove the benefits of medical cannabis and addresses the challenges faced by veterans in their daily lives.

Bryan Buckley's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies with a minor in Naval Science from Villanova University, which they completed from 2002 to 2004. Prior to this, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Mass Communication/Media Studies. In addition, Bryan also pursued education in Expeditionary Warfare at Marine Corps University. Furthermore, they obtained a Veteran Entrepreneurial Jumpstart (VEJ) degree in Business from Saint Joseph's University.
