Melissa Lorson

Melissa (Davis) Lorson is an experienced finance and accounting professional with a robust career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as VP of Finance and Accounting at Helmer since December 2011, Melissa oversees a range of functions including monthly closing, reporting, cost accounting, and budgeting. Prior roles include VP Finance and Controller at ChaCha, where Melissa led improvements in yield management and enterprise-wide reporting, as well as positions such as Global Accounting Manager at Harlan and Director of Finance at TTE Technology. Melissa's foundational experience includes roles at Thomson Consumer Electronics and KPMG Peat Marwick. Academically, Melissa holds an M.B.A. from the Indiana University - Kelley School of Business along with a BS in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington.
