Chay Chinsethagid

Chay Chinsethagid has extensive experience in the field of information technology and engineering. They began their career in 1996 as a CAD Designer/Intern at Callidus Technologies. In 2000, they joined The University of Tulsa as a Research/Teaching Assistant. Chay then transitioned to Helmerich & Payne in 2002, where they held various positions over the years. They started as a Project Engineer, responsible for overseeing component selection, installation, and support for the company's engineering team. In 2015, Chay became an Engineering Services Manager, and in 2016, they were promoted to Director of Information Technology, where they directed all IT operations and the development of new technical solutions. From 2017 to 2021, Chay served as the VP of Information Technology and Process Excellence, and as of 2021, they hold the position of SVP, Information Technologies & Engineering at Helmerich & Payne.

Chay Chinsethagid holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa, obtained between 1996 and 2000. They also earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution between 2000 and 2002. In 2008, Chay pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University, completing it in 2010. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in December 2016 and are also a Professional Engineer certified by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
