George Michalopulos

VP Of Strategic Innovations at Helmerich & Payne

George Michalopulos began their work experience in 2002 as a Roughneck at Helmerich & Payne. George then worked as a Mechanical Engineer and later as a Drilling Superintendent. George became a District Manager in 2008 and held that position until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Regional Vice President - US Land - North. In 2017, they joined Motive Drilling Technologies as the Vice President. George returned to Helmerich & Payne in 2018 as the VP of Strategic Innovations.

George Michalopulos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tulsa, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management from Colorado State University from 2009 to 2011.
