Jeff Chien

Jeff Chien's work experience includes serving as a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Helmerich & Payne since 2022. Prior to this role, they held various positions at ConocoPhillips from 2017 to 2022, including Automation Service Delivery Lead, Cybersecurity Analyst, Firewall Analyst, High Performance Computing Associate System Administrator, and IT New Hire. Jeff also worked as an IT Planning & Strategy Intern at Dell in 2016.

Jeff Chien, CISSP, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Management Information Systems, General, which they obtained from Texas A&M University between 2015 and 2017. In 2020 and 2021, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity from Missouri State University. In addition to their educational background, Jeff has achieved several certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 in October 2023, the GIAC Cloud Security Essentials (GCLD) from GIAC Certifications in August 2023, the GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA) from GIAC Certifications in October 2022, and the Certified SAFe® 5 Scrum Master from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2022.
