Stephanie Higgins

Stephanie Higgins, SCMP has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Stephanie started as an Editor at Tulsa World Media Company in 1998 and held the position for almost 10 years. In 2008, they joined the City of Broken Arrow as the Director of Communications until 2014. After that, Stephanie worked at ONEOK as a Communications Consultant II from 2014 to 2018, and then as a Supervisor, External Communications from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Helmerich & Payne as H&P Technologies Communications and later transitioned to the role of Director, Corporate Communications and Community Relations from August 2020.

Stephanie Higgins, SCMP, earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communications from Northeastern State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1997. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications including Crisis Communication Management Certification from the Institute for Crisis Management and a Strategic Communications Management Professional (SCMP) designation from the Global Communication Certification Council, which they achieved in May 2019.
