Ian Nelis

Ian Nelis is an experienced professional in the software development and project management sectors, currently serving as the Business Unit Lead at Helmes AS since January 2013. In this role, Ian oversees multiple software development teams and is responsible for resource planning, team management, and the implementation of team-building strategies. Previously, Ian was a Member of the Board for the Estonian Fencing Association from December 2016 to November 2019. Ian's earlier experience includes working at Mindware Solutions from 2005 to January 2013 as a System Analyst and Project Manager, contributing to over 15 diverse projects for notable clients such as Statistics Estonia and various ministries. Ian holds an MSc in Information Technology and a BSc in Computer and Systems Engineering from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
