Katharina Kriegel

Katharina Kriegel currently serves as the PR & Outreach Manager for Helmholtz Imaging at the German Electron Synchrotron DESY since October 2022. Previously, Katharina was the International PR Coordinator for the GO FAIR Initiative and FAIR Data Spaces at ZBW - Leibniz-Informationszentrum Wirtschaft from March 2018 to September 2022, where responsibilities included public relations and event organization. Other notable roles include Public Relations Assistant at Techniker Krankenkasse, Assistant Press Officer at the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, and various positions at the Goethe-Institut. Katharina holds a Master of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from European University Viadrina and a Bachelor of Arts in German and French Linguistics, Literature, and Cultural Studies from Technische Universität Dresden, along with several certifications in project management and cultural planning.
