Dr. Amudha Brugger

Deputy Head Scientific Talent And Career Development at Helmholtz Munich

Dr. Amudha Brugger has extensive experience in scientific management and training, currently serving as the Deputy Head of Scientific Talent and Career Development at Helmholtz Munich since November 2013. In this role, Dr. Brugger oversees the HELENA Graduate Student Office, coordinates with partner universities, and manages communication and marketing efforts, including the HELENA Training Program. Previously, Dr. Brugger was a Scientific Manager, coordinating projects in the Department of Environmental Sciences and handling scientific review committee meetings. Prior to this, Dr. Brugger completed a post-doctorate and PhD in Alzheimer research at the Hertie-Institute for Clinical Brain Research. Dr. Brugger's background includes a Master's Degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Bonn and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from the Vellore Institute of Technology.
