Jenny Hankinson

Jenny Hankinson is an accomplished Project Manager in Core Facilities Scientific Management at Helmholtz Zentrum München since January 2022. Previously, Jenny served as a Senior Scientist at Medicines Discovery Catapult, contributing to the establishment of infrastructure for providing samples to industry partners for the development of SARS-Cov-2 diagnostic tools. From September 2015 to March 2021, Jenny managed tissue bank operations at NHS, facilitating high-impact translational research at the University of Manchester. Additionally, Jenny conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Manchester from February 2012 to March 2021, focusing on asthma and allergic disease using a multi-omics approach. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Genetics and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, both from the University of Manchester.
