Nathalia Dragano has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at CiMUS (Center for Research in Molecular Medicine and Chronic Diseases). Currently, they serve as the Head of Metabolic Screening - Institute of Experimental Genetics - German Mouse Clinic at Helmholtz Munich, starting in 2022.

Nathalia Dragano obtained their PhD in Sciences specializing in obesity, metabolic diseases, hypothalamus, therapeutics, fatty acids, and GPCRs from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Prior to their PhD, they completed a Master's degree in Food and Nutrition with a focus on bioactive compounds, functional foods, nutrition, and metabolic diseases at the same university from 2009 to 2011. Nathalia's undergraduate studies were in Biological Sciences at the Universidade Federal de Alfenas, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in animal experimentation and animal handling related to scientific and teaching purposes.
