Michelle Io-Low

Michelle Io-Low has a diverse work experience in research and teaching roles. Michelle is currently working as a Research Scientist at Helm since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Stony Brook University from 2016 to 2022, where they served as an Instructor, teaching an undergraduate course on Introduction to Comparative Politics. Michelle also worked as a Researcher Phd Candidate, utilizing programming languages like R, Stata, and Python to analyze survey data and implement various statistical techniques. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Assistant, coordinating online lecture series and managing social media accounts. Michelle also worked as a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Education, Singapore from 2014 to 2016, where they designed interventions for collaborative learning and conducted data collection and analysis.

Michelle Io-Low is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political Science and Government from Stony Brook University, with an expected completion date in 2022. Prior to this, they attended Mt. San Antonio College and the University of Southern California, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology. In addition to their academic pursuits, Michelle has obtained certifications in The Complete SQL Bootcamp 2022: Go from Zero to Hero from Udemy in March 2022, and User Experience (UX): The Ultimate Guide to Usability and UX from Udemy in December 2021.
