Ernesto Bustos

Ernesto Bustos is an accomplished Sr. Pattern Maker at Helmut Lang, specializing in the development of bottoms and couture jackets since January 2012, collaborating closely with the design team to translate visions into final approved fits for production, and is well-versed in Gerber 8. Previously, Ernesto held roles as Director of Technical Services at Claudiae and as a Patternmaker for Couture Jackets at Nicole Miller, where collection jackets were created from December 2008 to July 2009. Additional experience includes serving as a Women's Patternmaker at Chaiken Clothing and as a Senior Tech Designer at Victoria's Secret. Ernesto graduated from the Cybick School of Tailoring and Patternmaking with a degree in clothing engineering, tailoring, and patternmaking from 1974 to 1977.
