Eric Stewart

Eric Stewart has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information protection. Eric currently holds the position of Cybersecurity Director at Help at Home. Prior to this, they worked as a Cyber Security Professional at a confidential company. Eric spent a significant portion of their career at Cigna, where they held various roles such as Information Protection Director, Information Protection Senior Manager, Information Protection Manager, Fraud Manager, and Information Protection Senior Specialist. At Cigna, their responsibilities included managing vulnerability management, offensive security, data loss prevention, business continuity planning, internal threat management, forensic investigations, and network/web security audits. Before their tenure at Cigna, Eric served in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate on submarines, displaying exemplary performance and receiving a Department of Defense security clearance.

Eric Stewart earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Hartford in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of Connecticut School of Business in 2002. In addition, Eric holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from ISC2, which they obtained in 2010.
