Bob Shennan

Bob Shennan is a seasoned media and music consultant currently engaged with various organizations including Maidthorn Group, ITN, Grand Ole Opry, Virgin Radio, Times Radio, and TalkSPORT since March 2023. Shennan serves as Chair for Help Musicians and has been a Council Member at the Royal Albert Hall since February 2024. With a substantial tenure at BBC from January 2009 to March 2023, Shennan held multiple senior roles including Director of Audio at BBC Studios, Managing Director, and Director of Radio and Music. Additional board and council memberships include roles at BBC Children in Need, Buckinghamshire New University, Country Music Association, The Roundhouse, and The Radio Academy. Shennan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, and an honorary doctorate in Media studies from Buckinghamshire New University.
