Heidi Skrukrud

Heidi Skrukrud is an experienced Direct Support Worker at Helpers, Inc. since February 2014, providing care for children with medical conditions such as cerebral palsy and a history of caring for individuals with microcephaly and seizure disorders. Previous volunteer experiences include serving as a Juvenile Volunteer at Hospital Nacional de Niños in Costa Rica, where comfort was provided to infants, and as a Student Volunteer at Biblioteca La Amistad, where over 500 donated books were organized. Heidi holds an Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance from Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from St. Olaf College.
